1890 - 16 th October - Maria Goretti was born in Corinaldo to Luigi Goretti and his wife Assunta Carlini.

1890 -17 th October - She was baptized in the Church of San Francisco in Corinaldo and given the names of Maria and Teresa.

1896 - 4 th October - Confirmed by Msgr. Guilio Boschi, Bishop of Senigallia.

1897 - 28 th October - The Goretti Family leave Corinaldo and take up residence at Colle Gianturco near Paliano.

1899 - February - Transfer to Ferriere de Conca.

1900 - 6th May - Luigi Goretti dies struck down by malaria.

1901 – 16 th June - Maria Goretti receives her first Communion in the Church of Conca today called Borgo Montello.

1902 - 5th July - She is mortally wounded at 15:30 by Alessandro Serenelli

1902 - 6 th July - She dies at the age 11 years 9 months and 21 days after having pardoned her murderer.

1902 – 8 th July - She was buried in the cemetery at Nettuno.

1935 - 31 st May - Commencement of the informative process at Albano.

1945 - 15 th March - Pope Pius XII recognizes the authenticity of martyrdom of Maria Goretti.

1947 - 27 th April - Beautification.

1950 - 24 th June - Maria Goretti is declared a Saint in St. Peter's Square by Pope Pius XII.

Two miracles of undoubted realibility are attributed through the intercession of Sta. Maria Goretti. No less than Pope Pius XII recognized the authenticity of these miracles. The first is the healing of Mr. Giuseppe Cupe, a laborer and father of four children healed instantly of a serious clot caused by a falling mass on his right foot (Rome, 8 th of May 1947); The second is the instantaneous healing of Mrs. Anna Grossi Musumarra of pleurisy and abundant water in the lungs (Rome, 4 th of May 1947).
